West Ham star Andy Carroll is close to returning to action for the Premier League side, according to the club coach Manuel Pellegrini. It seems there would be some respite for the Hammers, injury-wise. The spate of injuries that hit the camp at once has affected their start to the season despite the array of talents at disposal.
Even though Carroll is known to be a prolific pointman and returns to full firepower relatively quicker when he returns from injury, the team seems to be comfortable with Marko Arnautovic upfront.

Andy Carroll is presently on a break and is trying to recover from an ankle surgery. However, he looked happier when he entered Towie stars this weekend. He put behind his recent defeat to Arsenal while he was partying at a nightclub called as Faces. The 29 year old striker is well known for his stunts and skills and would soon recover to be back in action. He was seen joining the Essex hotspot when the Hammers had to surrender a defeat in 3-1 against the Gunners. Premier League side West Ham United are set for a summer overhaul, as per reports. The club parted ways with manager David Moyes as his six months contract lapsed. The former Everton and Manchester United boss was brought in to save the day and retain top flight status following the sack of Slaven Bilic. He achieved his mandate but the overall performance meant his contract could not be extended.
Both parties have since parted ways, with the Hammers keen on bringing in an experienced man to help the club to greater achievements next term. There have been several names linked to the job but it is increasingly likely that former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini will get the nod. The Chilean is reportedly in discussion with the club. Other top coaches like Newcastle’s Rafa Benitez and Unai Emery, who just left Paris St Germain, are also top candidates for the role. There is Burnley’s Sean Dyche and former Watford manager Marco Silva.

West Ham United still has not recovered the €15 million they spend in signing Andy Carroll from Liverpool back in May of 2013. The English attacker has only scored 9 goals in 39 league appearances for his club. Carroll is currently undergoing a recovery treatment which is expected to be completed around New Year’s.
Carroll’s history of injuries has seen him missing out from the majority of last season due to an Achilles problem and now he has once more been hit with an injury that is yet again going to be leaving him out of action for an extensive period of time. West Ham United’s Sam Allardyce has recently spoken to the public concerning the condition of Andy Carroll as he stated that the former Liverpool player is ‘’miserable’’ due to all of these recent injuries.
Sam Allardyce told reporters: “He is pretty miserable. He is not very happy with life at the moment because it is a massive blow to him again. We just have to pick his spirits up. Hopefully when the boot comes off and the specialist gives him the okay to start working again he will feel a lot happier with himself. But he is certainly very upset and very miserable at this moment in time.”
Andy Carroll’s large absence from the playing grounds has forced Allardyce on having to look around in the transfer market for players that could fill in the gap left by the English forward with Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia being some of the latest attacking players being signed by Allardyce.
Even though Carroll is not expected to play for the remainder of the current year, Allardyce remains confident that West Ham United can still be able to enjoy a fairly successful Premier League season by finishing in the top 10 spots.
